Knoydart Farm
Overlooking the scenic Northumberland Strait, Knoydart Farm is a family-run operation where quality dairy and tradition go hand in hand. Owned and operated by the Hunter family, the farm is home to grass-fed Jersey and Holstein cows whose milk forms the base of every handcrafted cheese they produce.
Knoydart’s cheddars are made in small batches, with some infused with herbs and spices for added flavour, and others aged to perfection for a rich, sharp finish. Their signature Dunmaglass farmhouse cheese is a standout - a mild tasting, crumbly white cheese, with a slight tang of lemon.
Alongside their cheese offerings, Knoydart also produces fresh cheese curds, pasteurized but non-homogenized whole milk, and cream - all made on-site with care and commitment to sustainability and taste.
